Is Ulkaa Task free?
Yes. Personal tasks are free with a free Ulkaa account. Tasks that belong to a team live inside an Ulkaa Workspace, which is paid per user after a 14-day trial.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Changes are written to your browser first, so you can add and tick off tasks without a connection. They sync when you are online and signed in.
Can I share a task or a list?
Yes. Share a task or a whole list with people by username as Viewer, Commenter or Editor. Anything shared with you appears in the Shared with me panel. Public links are live; comments are coming soon.
Do repeating tasks work?
Yes. Set a task to repeat and the next occurrence is created when you finish it. Repeats are scheduled on our servers, so they need you to be signed in.
What do I get for finishing tasks?
Finish one of your own personal tasks and your Ulkaa pet earns XP and coins, more for higher priorities. The reward shows in Space and Halum, never on a workspace.
Can I use it with my team?
Yes. Inside an Ulkaa Workspace you get team tasks with assignees, kept apart from your personal tasks and marked “Work” so nobody mixes them up.
Are my tasks end-to-end encrypted?
No. Tasks are protected by your sign-in and by sharing rules on our servers, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. Read the Security page for what we do and do not claim.
